The Bailey

Robert Joyce

"The light music of whiskey falling into a glass - an agreeable interlude"- James Joyce

Since the 1800's The Bailey has been offering a sanctuary in the city. The ideal location to recharge the batteries and watch the world go by. The Bailey is a contemporary bar which fares popular with the locals. It offers warmth with plush interiors and a heated outdoor terrace. Ideal for a quick lunch or evening drinks.

The place tends to get busier in the evenings popular for after work drinks where you can watch shoppers passing by.

Check out some of our favourites from the chic bar...

Fried Scampi Served with Chips or Salad €12.00

Fresh Scampi, Goes down well with a pint of Guinness. Served with Tartare Sauce, fresh salad or chips.

Smoked Salmon on Guinness Bread - €10.00

a Filling snack, fresh Guinness Bread served with a plentiful amount of chips and salad.

"Good things come to those who wait" - I love the Guinness here, they wait the recommended 119.5 seconds as recommended resulting in a creamy smooth velvety head. I would recommend their craft beers as well, O'Hara's a decent IPA with a Hoppy Content. -  Robert
